Honestly, I was just going to keep this story in my head and not actually post it. But with the Soarin’ and Rainbow Dash thing going it gave me a few extra ideas about this story and I had to do it. I know I’m going to get hell for having an OC related to Rainbow, but whatever.

And because I want to, explanations for questions I probably might get and don’t want to bother with later:
What about at the Gala or the dragon (Spike) attack on Ponyville? Ariel was there for those, and so was RD. Wouldn’t she get in trouble? Well, as soon as Ariel found out that Rainbow was there, she left. She was only there when RD first showed at the VIP area. Once she figured out who that rainbow-maned mare was she dashed out. And with The Secret of My Excess, she kinda had a job to do. Again, she didn’t expect Rainbow to be there and left before Rainbow had a chance to talk to her. Also, what RD’s parents don’t know won’t hurt Ariel.
Why can’t we see RD’s parents or who told them everything? The parent thing is simply because so many people have head-canons about RD’s parents that I didn’t want to pick something that would disagree with people. So yea, that was a bit pandering, but I honestly don’t have any head-canons for her parents. And I’m going to reveal who it was eventually. But honestly, if you really read this blog thoroughly you could probably figure it out.

Which Rainbow is canon for this blog? The Rainbow in this blog is canon for this blog? Honestly, I don’t expect any Rainbow blog to accept this back-story as theirs. If someone does then that’s awesome and fine by me.

I planned at hinting at this a bit with the Fluttershy story I was going to start, but then I just made that a one post deal and never really finished it. Wouldn’t make much sense to finish it now though.
So yea, the Rainbow Dash arch. Guesses for the connection are still open and would be helpful for furthering the story >w>
